The Barre Foundation is the first of its kind housing women and women with children. The inside is beautiful, being newly remodeled with eight bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. This home is for those who identify as women and members who are transitioning and their children up to age 10. The home can serve up to six families including two rooms are single rooms for those members without children. The outside has a sizable deck and a childrens’ play park across the street. Being that the home is only steps away from downtown Barre and .9 Miles away from the Central Vermont Turning Point Center, there are numerous opportunities and resources to flourish in the recovery community.
